6. Limitation of Liability
IATF France cannot be held liable for direct or indirect damage to users’ equipment arising from access to the site, whether due to non-compliant equipment (see § 4) or the occurrence of a bug or incompatibility.

IATF France is also not liable for indirect damages (such as loss of business or chance) resulting from the use of the site.

Interactive areas (e.g. the contact form) are available to users. IATF France reserves the right to delete, without prior notice, any content that violates applicable French law—especially data-protection provisions. In such cases, IATF France may pursue civil and/or criminal liability against the user, particularly for racist, insulting, defamatory, or pornographic messages, regardless of format (text, photo, etc.).


7. Personal Data Management
In France, personal data are protected by Law No. 78-17 of January 6, 1978, as amended by Law No. 2004-801 of August 6, 2004, Article L.226-13 of the Penal Code, and the European Directive of October 24, 1995.

When using the site, the following may be collected: the URLs of linked sites through which the user accessed iatf-france.fr, the user’s Internet service provider, and the user’s IP address.

IATF France collects personal information only to the extent necessary for certain services. Users provide this data knowingly, especially when entering it themselves. Users are informed whether providing such information is mandatory.
